Job summary

Evans' is seeking a data/BI professional in Wisconsin to own the data and systems layer connecting Account Management and Carrier Procurement. You will replace spreadsheets with reporting, dashboards, and self-serve workflows that are fast and accurate.

This role blends data/BI and pricing mindsets; you will design data pipelines, fetch data, automate repeat tasks, and empower teams. You will lead end-to-end data solutions that scale as we grow.

Qualifications

• Experience building dashboards, scorecards, or reporting systems from scratch.
• Ability to pull and blend data from multiple systems into a single source of truth.
• Experience with Excel/Power BI and navigating TMS data structures.

Responsibilities

• Consolidate today’s scattered manual reports and exports into standing, repeatable pulls for Account Management and Carrier Procurement
• Design how data flows between MercuryGate, the DAT integration, Excel tools, and any BI layer, and keep it documented
• Identify recurring manual work (data pulls, report assembly, status updates) and build the automation or AI-assisted workflows to remove it
• Consolidate the department’s live dashboards into a single, current, trusted set
• Track, prioritize, and close incoming data and reporting requests from Account Management, Carrier Procurement, and Yield
• Improve the waterfall and auto-tendering workflow to carriers, and clean up contract vs. spot labeling inside the TMS
• Blend Evans’ different data sources (TMS, market rate data, carrier data) into a single view, and help build a new truckload rating engine from that foundation
• Partner with Account Management, Carrier Procurement, and Yield leadership to understand what they need from the data before building it
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
