Job summary

Auto Club Enterprises is seeking a Data Engineering & Operations Manager to lead a team of systems engineers, DevOps engineers, operations analysts, systems architects, and application administrators. You will manage data analytics platforms, production pipelines, and drive continuous process improvements across the organization.

The role requires strong leadership, strategy development, and the ability to present value to senior management.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills.
• Thorough understanding of modern data & analytics platforms, data engineering practices, people management, project management, and quality assurance.
• Ability to identify opportunities, root causes of problems, and devise creative solutions with stakeholder buy-in.
• Drive to innovate processes and resilience to change.

Responsibilities

• Play a key role in developing and implementing department vision and strategies regarding Process, Tools, Technologies, and Platforms.
• Champion engagement activities.
• Ensure all operational KPIs and metrics are defined, measured and met.
• Inspire and guide improvement in process, technology innovation and automation for the organization.
• Manage staff including career planning, goal development, performance evaluations, growth and development, and knowledge retention.
• Present to teams, business units, and upper management to demonstrate the value added by the team.
