Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Senior Manager to lead the Data Self-Service Platform team, directing architecture and end-to-end delivery of a critical internal self-service tool. You will mentor engineers, align technical work with business strategy, and drive modernization of how data is accessed.

You will oversee production-grade applications, guide API development (gRPC/REST), and foster collaboration with product and analytics teams to enable decentralized data ownership and scalable analytics

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering with leadership/management
• Experience leading full-stack teams (React/Python)
• Strong stakeholder management and communication
• Experience overseeing production-grade full-stack apps and API development
• Experience with containerized environments (Docker) and CI/CD
• Knowledge of Kafka or similar event-streaming platforms and Snowflake

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic technical leadership for the Data Self-Service Platform (React/Python/Snowflake).
• Coach and mentor a team of software engineers and foster growth.
• Coordinate project planning, resourcing, and delivery timelines.
• Bridge between engineering, product, and business stakeholders.
• Ensure high code quality, observability, and robust architecture practices.
• Facilitate agile ceremonies and improve operational efficiency.
