CVS Health is seeking a Senior Manager to lead the Data Self-Service Platform initiative, guiding the design, build, and delivery of an internal self-service data toolset that centralizes data quality and enables decentralized ownership across engineering and analytics teams.

This high-impact role emphasizes strategic leadership, stakeholder management, and mentorship while ensuring production-grade software, observability, and robust architecture.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering leadership experience.
• Experience leading full-stack teams (React/Python) and API development.
• Strong communication for cross-functional stakeholder management.
• Experience overseeing production-grade full-stack apps, gRPC/REST APIs.
• Experience with containerized environments (Docker) and CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps/Github).
• Knowledge of Kafka or similar event-streaming platforms and Snowflake.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic technical leadership for the Data Self-Service Platform (React/Python/Snowflake).
• Mentor and grow a team of software engineers.
• Coordinate project planning, resources, and delivery timelines.
• Bridge between engineering, product, and business stakeholders.
• Ensure high code quality, observability, and robust architecture practices.
• Facilitate agile ceremonies and drive operational efficiency.
