Job summary

Airlines Reporting Corporation (ARC) seeks a Senior Director, Data Platform Engineering to define and execute the enterprise data platform vision and roadmap. Lead scalable, secure data capabilities enabling analytics, AI, and BI across ARC.

You will mentor a high-performing team, partner with business leaders to translate priorities into platform capabilities, and drive modernization and governance across the data ecosystem. Hybrid work model offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• 10+ years in data engineering, data platform, or enterprise data architecture roles with 5+ years in leadership.
• Experience building and scaling enterprise data platforms and leading data engineering teams.
• Experience with modern data platform technologies (cloud data warehousing, ETL/ELT, data lake/lakehouse).
• Ability to partner with business and product stakeholders to translate needs into technical roadmaps.
• Strong workforce planning and organizational development skills.
• Excellent communication and executive presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Own and advance ARC's enterprise data platform to meet current and future needs across data products, analytics, and operations.
• Partner with data product teams and business stakeholders to develop strategic roadmaps.
• Define and execute multi-year data engineering capability and workforce strategy.
• Lead and develop a high-performing data engineering organization.
• Collaborate with AI engineering teams to enable AI initiatives.
• Work with Corporate Security to define data privacy, compliance, access controls, and retention policies.
