Sports Careers is seeking a Data Platform Engineer to own the health, performance, and evolution of our enterprise data platform. You will harden SQL Server environments, help design Snowflake cloud data platform, and collaborate with Data Engineering and Operations teams to keep critical data workflows reliable.

Ideal candidates bring strong SQL Server administration and database engineering experience, experience with Snowflake, Python, and orchestration tools.

Qualifications

• Strong SQL Server administration and database engineering experience.
• Experience with Snowflake and cloud data platforms.
• Familiarity with ETL/ELT pipelines and data orchestration (Dagster or similar).
• Ability to design scalable relational schemas and data models.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and optimize SQL Server environment for reliability and performance.
• Contribute to Snowflake architecture and migration roadmap.
• Develop and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines and data loading processes.
• Collaborate with Data Engineering and Baseball Systems teams to meet business needs.
