Job summary

Peraton is seeking a Senior Snowflake Data Engineer with administration experience to design, develop, deploy, and optimize data pipelines in Snowflake. The role balances hands-on data engineering with backup platform administration and RBAC design.

You will collaborate with product owners, data engineers, architects, and agile teams to ensure platform performance, security, and alignment with architectural standards while advancing Snowflake capabilities across environments.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of Snowflake/Java/Python/ETL development experience with 2+ years Snowflake administration.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Deep Snowflake architecture knowledge and RBAC design experience.
• Strong SQL skills for complex analytic queries and performance tuning.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, deploy and optimize data pipelines in Snowflake.
• Act as backup Snowflake administrator including RBAC and cost optimization.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Data Engineers, Architects and agile teams to meet performance and security requirements.
