Job summary

Apexon seeks an experienced Data Management Specialist to design, build and optimize data solutions for enterprise environments. You will develop Snowflake-based data pipelines and collaborate with engineering to ensure scalable, high-quality data platforms.

Responsibilities include SDLC participation, performance tuning, and documentation. Strong SQL and Python skills, plus experience with Spark/Scala and orchestration tools, are required for success.

Qualifications

• 10+ years designing and developing data solutions in enterprise environments.
• 5+ years on Snowflake platform.
• Strong SQL and Python development skills.
• Experience building production-grade data ingestion pipelines using Spark/Scala.
• Experience with orchestration tools like Airflow, Informatica, Automate.
• Knowledge of metadata and data lineage.
• Proficient in SQL analytical functions.
• Shell scripting and JavaScript knowledge.
• Experience with CI/CD, automated testing, and performance engineering.
• Familiarity with Git, Confluence, Jira.

Responsibilities

• Develop, oversee, organize, store, and analyze data and data systems.
• Participate in Snowflake SDLC stages from planning to QA.
• Collaborate with engineering to identify and implement optimal solutions.
• Ensure platform performance, uptime and scale with high code quality.
• Troubleshoot incidents, perform root-cause analysis, document fixes.
• Manage deliverables in a fast-paced environment.
