Job summary

HCLTech is seeking an experienced Data Architect to design and lead Databricks Lakehouse solutions in Charlotte, NC. You will drive modern data platforms, governance, and AI-enabled pipelines, collaborating with executives to align technology with business goals.

You will architect cloud-native data foundations, implement real-time and batch processing, and guide teams through governance, security, and scalable delivery of AI-ready data assets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in CS/IS/Engineering/Data Science or related field.
• 10+ years in data architecture, data engineering, cloud platforms, or enterprise technology consulting.
• 5+ years hands-on with Databricks, Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, Delta Live Tables, and Structured Streaming.
• Cloud platforms: Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Strong Python and PyTorch experience for AI/ML solutions.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end data architecture for Lakehouse deployments.
• Lead data modernization, migration, and digital transformation initiatives.
• Design and implement production-grade data pipelines.
• Establish governance, security, lineage, and quality practices.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align solutions with business goals.
