Job summary

TikTok is seeking a Data Engineer for the Data Platform team to design, build, and optimize one of the world’s largest data platforms. You will develop scalable data transformations for reporting, growth analysis, and multi‑dimensional analytics, impacting core products and hundreds of millions of users.

You will design robust data pipelines and big data architectures, establishing best practices and ensuring reliable, extensible systems across the data platform.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Computer Science or related field or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience with Big Data technologies (Hadoop, M/R, Hive, Spark, Metastore, Presto, Flume, Kafka, ClickHouse, Flink).
• Experience with ETL and data system architecture.
• Experience with schema design, data modeling and SQL queries.
