Job summary

TikTok is seeking a Data Engineer for its Data Platform Global Live team. You will build, optimize, and grow one of the world's largest data platforms, working across real-time and offline data warehouses to support TikTok LIVE features and user growth.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into data solutions, leveraging big data tech and LLM capabilities while gaining hands-on experience across the data platform ecosystem.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Software Development, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related discipline.
• Experience in data solutions, such as data consulting, product development, and data tools creation.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions and data metrics.
• Understanding of data warehousing and construction ideas of the data system.
• Experience with coding (SQL, Python, etc.).
• Passionate and self-motivated about using data to drive business decisions.
