Job summary

Millennium Space Systems, a Boeing Company, is seeking a Data Platform & Analytics Manager to lead a team of data engineers, scientists, and analysts in El Segundo. You will drive technical direction, project plans, and governance, aligning data platforms with business needs and security requirements.

The role emphasizes leadership, collaboration across teams, and delivering scalable data solutions for enterprise data platforms and modernization programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent years of experience.
• 7+ years of experience in data engineering, data science, analytics, or cloud data platform development.
• 3+ years of experience leading technical teams.
• Deep understanding of data modeling, metadata management, lineage, and governance frameworks.
• Ability to obtain a US Security Clearance; US citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, coach, and retain a high-performing data team.
• Serve as technical authority for data platform systems.
• Implement modern DevSecOps for data: CI/CD, IaC, automated testing.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate needs into scalable solutions.
• Support enterprise initiatives including Synapse, Purview, and modernization programs.
• Ensure ITAR and internal compliance requirements are met.
