Job summary

Millennium Space Systems, a Boeing Company, is seeking a Data Platform & Analytics Manager to lead a team of data engineers, scientists and analysts in El Segundo, CA. You will own enterprise data platform initiatives, drive DevSecOps for data pipelines, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable solutions.

Required: 7+ years in data engineering/science, 3+ years leading teams, US citizenship and ability to obtain a security clearance.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent years of experience.
7+ years’ experience in data engineering, data science, analytics, or cloud data platform development.
3+ years’ experience in leading technical teams.

Responsibilities

Team Leadership - Recruit, coach, and retain a high-performing team of data platform architects, data scientists, analytics/ML engineers, and BI analysts
Enterprise Data Platform Ownership - Serve as technical authority for the data platform systems
Process & Delivery Excellence - Implement modern DevSecOps for data: CI/CD, IaC, automated testing, architecture decision records, and runbooks
Collaboration - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into scalable solutions
Roadmap - Support enterprise initiatives including Synapse, Purview, and modernization programs
Compliance - Ensure solutions meet ITAR and internal compliance requirements
