Job summary

AWS Infrastructure Services is seeking Software Development Engineers to design and implement Linux-based networking platforms for embedded devices in Cupertino. You will join a diverse team of engineers to deliver high‑quality, scalable networking solutions at scale for Amazon and AWS customers.

You will work on kernel forwarding, L2/L3 concepts, and collaborate with teams across AWS to ensure safe, secure, and cost-efficient infrastructure.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems.
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language.

Responsibilities

• Develop state of the art Linux based networking platforms for embedded devices.
• Collaborate with software, hardware, networking, and security engineers to deliver scalable solutions.
• Own parts of the kernel forwarding and ensure the hardware state mirrors the software state.
