Job summary

Ericsson in Austin, Texas seeks a Senior Operations & Data Analyst to drive KPI dashboards and data pipelines in support of Central Engineering, Strategy & Operations. The role is on-site with hybrid options and emphasizes executive‑level insights and governance across engineering and finance teams.

The candidate should have a bachelor's degree and years of experience in operations, data or program analysis, with Power BI/Tableau, SQL and Python proficiency, plus budget/forecasting skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum bachelor's degree in Engineering, Data Analytics, Finance, Business, or related field.
• Several years of in‑industry experience in operations, data or business analysis, or program operations.
• Track record building KPIs, dashboards, and reporting used by senior leadership.
• Hands‑on proficiency in Power BI or Tableau and familiarity with AI in visualization and analysis.
• Experience with budgets, variance analysis, and forecasting.
• Ability to turn multi‑source inputs into clear, trustworthy conclusions; strong stakeholder influence.

Responsibilities

• Define operational KPIs and build leadership dashboards on approved platforms.
• Build and automate the data models and pipelines behind dashboards.
• Review data collection and review processes to improve execution predictability.
• Produce resource, headcount, and spend forecasts; analyze actuals vs forecasts.
• Track Capex and Opex; provide variance explanations and cost analyses.
• Own the operational cadence for business reviews and governance.
• Drive resolution of cross‑functional risks with accountable leaders.
• Turn analyses into executive‑ready insights.
