Job summary

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Data Science, Data Analytics, CS, or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in data analytics or data science roles.
• Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, and R.
• Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar visualization tools, including data modeling and DAX.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Experience gathering and documenting business requirements.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and Azure DevOps.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
• Understanding of statistical methods and probability theory.

Responsibilities

• Process, cleanse, and verify data integrity for analysis and modeling.
• Perform ad-hoc and recurring analyses, presenting results to support decisions.
• Analyze large datasets to extract meaningful insights and select ML techniques.
• Build, evaluate, and optimize classification and predictive models.
• Apply data mining to identify trends and relationships.
• Extend datasets with third-party sources to improve analytics.
• Enhance data collection for high-quality inputs for ML systems.
• Use modeling to predict unseen or future instances.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align analytics with business objectives.
• Adhere to conduct and data governance policies.
• Gather, analyze, and document requirements, translating to BRDs, user stories, and specs.
• Build and maintain dashboards and data visualizations in Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools.
• Apply statistical methods and basic ML models to support forecasting and decision-making.
• Perform analyses to support operational reporting and strategic initiatives.
• Ensure data accuracy and integrity across datasets.
• Integrate third-party data sources to improve coverage and model performance.
• Communicate findings clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Partner with development teams using Azure DevOps to manage work items.
