Job summary

Job description

Location: Onsite 3 days a wk; Hybrid – Office location is Jersey City NJ

Required Pay Scale: $70-75hr W2

Due to client requirements this role is only open to USC or GC candidates

The successful candidate will manage multiple concurrent initiatives spanning platform enhancement, data source onboarding, regulatory and governance activities, operational readiness, and technology modernization efforts. The role requires strong program management, stakeholder engagement, and governance expertise within a highly controlled and regulated financial services environment.

• 7+ years of project or program management experience within large financial institutions or similarly regulated organizations.
• Demonstrated experience delivering complex technology, data, analytics, or platform modernization initiatives.
• Strong understanding of SDLC methodologies including Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid delivery models.
• Experience managing cross-functional teams consisting of architecture, engineering, infrastructure, operations, risk, and business stakeholders.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including preparation of executive-level presentations and governance materials.
• Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects with competing priorities and aggressive delivery timelines.
• Strong RAID management, dependency tracking, issue escalation, and executive reporting experience.
• Experience with JIRA, Confluence, project financial management, and resource planning.
• Working knowledge of enterprise data platforms, cloud technologies, data warehousing, analytics, or distributed query technologies.
• Ability to navigate complex governance, risk, compliance, audit, and change-management processes.
• Experience with Starburst, Trino, Presto, Databricks, Snowflake, Hadoop, or similar enterprise data platforms.
• Understanding of distributed query engines, data federation, data virtualization, and data mesh concepts.
• Familiarity with enterprise data governance, metadata management, lineage, data quality, and data privacy practices.
• Experience supporting regulatory reporting, finance, treasury, risk, or CFO technology organizations.
• Knowledge of information security, entitlement management, encryption, identity management, and access governance processes.
• PMP, PgMP, Scrum Master, SAFe, or equivalent project management certification preferred.
