The role targets experienced leaders capable of coordinating design, development, testing, and delivery, while guiding a technical team and aligning with BI and engineering stakeholders. Ideal candidates will have 12+ years of experience, deep SQL skills, ETL/ELT design knowledge, and a proven ability to manage end-to-end

Qualifications

• Strong data warehousing concepts including dimensional modeling and ETL/ELT design.
• Extensive data warehousing experience with a tech lead background.
• Proven track record managing end-to-end SDLC for DW/reporting projects.
• Hands-on ETL development and reporting experience.
• Familiarity with data migration projects and methodologies.
• Advanced SQL skills including complex queries and validation.
• Experience building POCs for report and log analysis.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Self-starter able to run projects independently with data-driven mindset.
• Excellent stakeholder communication translating technical details for non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead data migration initiatives across DW and reporting platforms, owning design, development, and testing phases end-to-end.
• Manage the complete SDLC for migration projects - requirements, planning, execution, testing, and delivery.
• Write and optimize complex SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, validation, and reconciliation.
• Build POCs for report analysis and log analysis to validate migration approaches and troubleshoot issues.
• Define migration strategy, data mapping, and validation frameworks to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
• Drive data-driven decision-making across the project lifecycle.
• Identify risks and data quality issues early, and drive resolution independently.
• Create and maintain documentation: migration plans, test cases, mapping sheets, and runbooks.
• Mentor junior team members and guide the team as a technical lead.
• Partner with business stakeholders, BI teams, and engineering to gather requirements and communicate migration progress, risks, and timelines.

• Hands-on experience in ETL development and reporting
• Strong familiarity with data migration projects and methodologies
• Strong hands-on SQL skills (complex queries, performance tuning, data validation)
