Job summary

E-Solutions INC is seeking a Data Migration Lead to independently own migration projects across data warehousing and reporting platforms. The role emphasises strong SQL, ETL/ELT skills, and the ability to bridge business and technical teams.

You will manage requirements, design, development, testing, deployment, and delivery across the SDLC, mentoring teams and driving timely resolutions. Remote work is offered with strong stakeholder collaboration.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in data warehousing and data migration leadership.
• End-to-end data migration ownership across DW and reporting platforms.
• Strong SQL: complex queries, optimization, validation, reconciliation, performance tuning.
• Ability to mentor teams, identify risks, and drive resolutions.
• Effective communication with business, BI, engineering, and technical teams.
• Experience with data mapping, migration strategy, validation, data quality, reconciliation.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end data migration projects across DW and reporting platforms.
• Own SDLC phases from requirements to deployment and delivery.
• Mentor teams and drive risk mitigation and resolution.
• Build POCs for report and log analysis.

Data Migration Lead

• Experience: 12+ years, with significant Data Warehousing + Tech Lead experience.




• Core Ownership: Lead end-to-end data migration projects across DW and Reporting platforms.




• SDLC: Own requirements, planning, design, development, testing, deployment, and delivery.




• SQL: Strong hands-on complex SQL, optimization, validation, reconciliation, and performance tuning.




• Data Warehousing: Strong knowledge of dimensional modeling, Star/Snowflake schemas, ETL/ELT.




• Migration: Experience with data mapping, migration strategy, validation, data quality, and reconciliation.




• POCs: Build POCs for report analysis and log analysis.




• Leadership: Mentor teams, make independent decisions, identify risks, and drive resolution.




• Stakeholder Management: Communicate effectively with business, BI, engineering, and technical teams.




• Documentation: Migration plans, mapping sheets, test cases, runbooks, etc.




• Good to Have: Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery, Azure Synapse, Power BI, Tableau.




• Education: BE/ME/BTech/MTech/BSc/MSc; technical certifications desirable.




• Location: Remote.
