Job Title: Data Migration Lead

Location: New Jersey (Remote)

Job Type: 6-12+ Months

Job Description

• Determine the scope of Data migration.
• Document the data migration strategy.
• Document Data Migration Protocol to accompany the data migration strategy.
• Produce the Data Migration Summary report based on the strategy and protocols.
• Participate in finalizing the code migration strategy in conjunction with the data migration strategy.
• Coordinate moving of various transports from a WMS perspective.
• Support mapping and construction of data from legacy systems.
• Establish and support pre-load and post-load business signoff.
• Support internal and external quality control and audit processes.
• Lead data defect triage and remediation.
• Scope, identify, and guide remediation of incomplete or incorrect data in legacy systems.
• Validate all data once migrated across environments (DEV → PQA → QA → Prod).
• Plan and coordinate cutover activities, including mock cutovers and fall-over/recovery processes, working closely with systems and performance teams.
• Verify data integrity between platforms (ERP, WMS, Serialization).
• Coordinate delivery and creation of test data across environments.
• Oversee environment configuration, master data, and transactions during migration.
• Reconcile results from acceleration tools for platform uplifts.
• Perform root cause analysis and corrective actions for data issues.
• Review and update migration approaches to prevent recurrence of past issues.
• Develop data conversion strategies, including configuration preservation and legacy data conversion.
• Handle specific data types such as LPNs with hierarchies, inventory by location, orders by status, inbound and outbound data, serialization, and clinical data.
