Shoppa’s Material Handling is seeking a Data Management Specialist I to help ensure data accuracy, organization, and accessibility across enterprise systems. This entry-level role supports data validation, cleansing, and reporting to enable informed business decisions.

You will collaborate with sales, operations, finance, and IT, maintain data documentation, and assist in system migrations and data updates while adhering to security and compliance standards.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 0–2 years of data management, data entry, or related role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data tools; able to build basic reports.
  • Familiarity with CRM/ERP systems (Dynamics, SAP) and reporting tools like Power BI/Tableau.

Responsibilities

  • Collect, input, and maintain data across systems ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timeliness.
  • Perform routine data validation and quality checks to identify and correct discrepancies.
  • Assist in standardization and governance of data according to policies.
  • Generate basic reports and data extracts to support operations and decision-making.

This role assists in managing data systems, performing routine data quality checks, and supporting reporting and analytics efforts. The specialist works closely with cross-functional teams to ensure data standards are followed, resolves basic data issues, and helps maintain documentation of data processes. This role requires strong attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a foundational understanding of data management practices.
