Job summary

Sanilac County CMH seeks a Data Management/Quality Specialist to monitor and coordinate data for the Data Management Department, supporting CCBHC data requirements and quality initiatives. Responsibilities include generating reports from EMR/OASIS, assisting with audits and plans of correction, coordinating training, and ensuring data accuracy across programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field; four years of relevant data management experience preferred.
• Two+ years working in an EMR system preferred.
• Strong computer skills with Word, Excel, and Windows; excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment.
• Excel, keypad, and Pivot Table testing will be conducted.

Responsibilities

• Assist with gathering and monitoring data for accreditation reviews.
• Pull data and prepare reports for agency programs as requested by supervisor.
• Provides training and assistance to staff for EMR/OASIS, including a monthly newsletter.
• Assists with internal and external audits and reviews for Plan of Correction follow-up.
• Coordinates, enrolls staff in insurance panels and manages provider enrollment.
