Job summary

Mercyhealth is seeking a Data Specialist to support the Quality and Infection Control department with data coordination, reporting, and data integrity across multiple registries and databases.

You will manage monthly reports, create physician and leadership dashboards, and help optimize workflows. A healthcare-related degree or equivalent experience is required, with strong attention to detail and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a healthcare related field or ten years of relevant experience.
• Directly related work experience in data management may be considered in lieu of degree.
• Minimum two years of experience with data measurement and reporting in healthcare settings.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate monthly reports from multiple data registries and databases.
• Validate reports and ensure data integrity and accuracy.
• Create and maintain reports for physicians and leaders using data from multiple sources.
• Upload/download data to external databases (Premier, RL Solutions, Lumedx, Press Ganey, CDC) and ensure data validity.
• Support process improvement and workflow changes across Quality and Infection Control.
• Provide end-user training and assist with project management and implementation efforts.
