Job summary

General Dynamics Electric Boat is seeking a Data Management professional to support planning, program office, operations, and finance in manpower forecasting and EVMS processes.

The role emphasizes understanding Earned Value Management standards, process improvements, and effective communication across technical peers and management. A portion of work may be remote, but the role requires a minimum of six months on-site training at Groton, CT.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years in Estimating, Finance, Program Office, Purchasing, Contracts, Engineering, Operations, Planning or Project Management.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel knowledge, including formulas, pivot tables and charts.

Responsibilities

• Update and modify phasing profiles showing manpower impacts.
• Provide analyses related to EVM and manpower needs.
• Use EVM to update EAC and workload projections.
• Assess schedule quality and data integrity via reporting.
• Analyze planning data and recommend corrective actions.
• Attend meetings and update systems with requested changes.
• Monitor work and audit EVMS for reliability.
• Interact with Operations stakeholders across levels.
• Understand databases and craft queries.
