Job Title: Data Management Administrator
Monthly Pay: $3,484 - $5,204 USD per month
Summary:
Each shift begins with a queue of data entry requests, emailed corrections, and updates awaiting review. You maintain accurate business information so colleagues can find dependable entries and continue their work without avoidable delays. Within the administrative operations team, you work under an administrative team lead and coordinate with requesters and colleagues who use shared databases. This fully remote position lets you work from home in Louisiana, United States, completing desk-based data management tasks from initial checks through final confirmation. The role requires a 40-hour weekly commitment. Working days and shift times may vary.
Job Responsibilities:
- Review the incoming request queue and emails at the start of each shift, checking priorities, requested changes, and instructions from the administrative team lead.
- Compare submitted information with approved source material, checking required fields, spelling, dates, reference codes, and existing entries before making changes.
- Enter and update business information in a database application such as Microsoft Access, following established field definitions and approved entry procedures.
- Locate existing entries through searches and filters, checking for duplicates and confirming that each requested update applies to the correct item.
- Prepare routine batch transfers using predefined data mapping instructions, checking source columns and destination fields without changing database structures or system settings.
- Check completed imports against source totals and sample entries, identifying missing values or mismatches before marking the task ready for review.
- Maintain orderly working files with approved naming conventions and folder locations, making source material and completed outputs easy for authorized colleagues to retrieve.
- Request clarification from the original requester when information is incomplete, and elevate conflicting instructions or unresolved discrepancies to the administrative team lead.
- Share progress and outstanding questions through a team collaboration platform such as Slack, then confirm completed updates and provide clear handover notes.
- Meet quality expectations through accurate entries, timely turnaround, complete task notes, and consistent follow‑up; correct review findings before closing assigned requests.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- No experience required; related experience in data entry, routine database updates, or administrative data management preferred.
- Basic understanding of database fields, consistent formatting, duplicate checks, and the importance of comparing entries with approved sources.
- Familiarity with database searches, filters, and routine imports preferred; willingness to learn the named systems through guided practice.
- Ability to follow predefined data mapping instructions and complete straightforward transfers without changing established database structures.
- Ability to organize digital files, retrieve information efficiently, and keep working versions separate from completed outputs.
- Clear written communication for clarification requests, progress updates, and concise handover notes that colleagues can understand without additional explanation.
- Access to a reliable computer, high‑speed internet, and a quiet private workspace, with availability for the 40‑hour weekly commitment and agreed working days and shift times.
- Authorization to work in the United States.
- Fully remote work from home within Louisiana, with desk‑based responsibilities and digital collaboration throughout the workday.

- Opportunities to build practical skills in data management, information retrieval, file organization, and accurate database updates.
- Health coverage, paid leave, maternity leave, bonus opportunities, and stipends.
