Job summary

Weis Markets in Indiana is seeking an organized office associate to manage item master data, vendor setup, and pricing as part of the merchandising team. You will ensure accurate item attributes for perishable and non-perishable categories and verify UPC and packaging details in the Item Master Data system.

The role also involves processing cost changes, updating records for data integrity, and coordinating with Merchandising and Procurement to meet department deadlines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED plus two years’ experience in an office environment.
• Familiarity with item data, pricing and vendor processes is preferred.
• Ability to maintain accurate records and comply with regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Setup and maintain new items in Item Master Data for Warehouse and DSD.
• Set up and maintain vendors as directed by Merchandising or Procurement.
• Create price and cost associations per Pricing and Procurement teams.
• Process manual promotional billing not captured via vendor portal.
• Enter cost changes into Item Master Data after Merchandising approval.
• Update item information using Data Integrity reports.
• Maintain product status and enter markdowns and billing for eligible items.
• Key and verify distributions as supplied by Procurement.
• Update item restrictions and authorizations from Shelf Management.
• Enter Ice Cream production data from Ice Cream Plant.
