Job summary

SPN Solutions is seeking an experienced Data Integration Specialist and EDI Developer to build and run EDI and data integration between Oracle systems and third-party warehouses. You will validate and reconcile transactions before inventory changes, and work on a hybrid Fairfax, VA schedule with some telework.

The role requires 5+ years in EDI/data integration, knowledge of X12 sets and AS2/SFTP, and familiarity with Oracle EBS and cloud tools.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of EDI and data integration development.
• Experience with X12 transaction sets and AS2 or SFTP transport.
• Data quality validation in EDI processing, and reconciliation and exception management.
• U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain an HHS Tier 2 public trust determination.

Responsibilities

• Implement and support X12 EDI transaction sets with 3PL warehouse partners (850, 855, 856, 940, 943, 944, 945, 947, 997 and related).
• Onboard trading partners: mapping, envelopes, acknowledgments, test cycles and certification.
• Build data quality validation into EDI processing: schema and business rule checks, quarantine, reconciliation and exception management with clear reporting.
• Reconcile inventory positions between Oracle and warehouse systems; investigate and resolve discrepancies with the data quality team.
• Monitor the interfaces, handle failures inside the service levels, and document every map and partner setup.

Job Description

You build and run the EDI and secure file exchanges between the Stockpile's Oracle systems and the third-party warehouses that hold the stock, and you make sure a transaction is validated, reconciled and explained before it changes an inventory balance. Full time, W-2, based in Fairfax, Virginia with some telework, starting October 2026.

Why this job exists

SPN Solutions has won a new contract to operate and modernize the information systems behind the Strategic National Stockpile, part of HHS's Administration for Strategic Preparedness and Response (ASPR). The Stockpile holds the nation's reserve of medicines and medical supplies for public health emergencies. When a hurricane, an outbreak or another emergency calls for those supplies, the systems this team runs are how the country knows what it has, where it is and how fast it can move. The platform is Oracle E-Business Suite, and the program is moving it to Oracle Cloud while raising the quality of the inventory data and tightening the integration with the warehouse partners that hold the stock. You would join at the start, on a new team, with real work to own from the first week.

What you will do

• Mapping and transformation tools (an EDI translator, Oracle Integration Cloud or similar).
• SQL and the ability to trace a transaction end to end.
• U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain an HHS Tier 2 public trust determination.

• You must be a U.S. citizen and obtain and keep an HHS Tier 2 (moderate risk) public trust determination; no security clearance is required
• You complete HHS security, privacy and records management training before access, and cGMP training shortly after you start
