Integrated Financial Settlements is seeking a Data & Integration Engineer in Austin, TX. You will architect and build the core data platform, connecting internal systems, banking partners, and external data sources into a unified operating platform.

You will define integration patterns, data models, and AI-ready infrastructure, enabling scalable analytics, AI applications, and automated workflows while ensuring security and regulatory compliance.

Formación

• 5+ years in data engineering, integration engineering, platform engineering, solution architecture, or related roles.
• Proven experience building scalable data platforms from architecture to production.
• Hands-on with banking, payment, fintech, or financial services integrations.
• Strong API design, integration services, event-driven patterns, webhooks, and distributed systems.
• Deep data modeling, canonical data design, master data management, governance, lineage, and data quality.
• Experience with cloud data platforms (Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, Redshift) and ETL/ELT tools.
• Proficiency in SQL and at least one language like Python, Java, or C#.
• Secure data transmission, encryption, authentication, authorization, and audit controls.

Responsabilidades

• Architect and build the core data and integration backbone of the platform.
• Design semantic layer for analytics, AI applications, and agentic workflows.
• Define enterprise integration architecture, API standards, and reusable connectivity.
• Develop ETL/ELT pipelines, orchestration, and observability.
• Ensure secure, compliant data movement across environments.
• Lead integrations with banking and payment systems (ACH, wires, networks).
• Create endpoints/services for Salesforce, workflows, and partners.
• Build data structures optimized for AI agents and ML models.
• Establish scalable patterns with minimal technical debt.
• Collaborate with business/tech teams to translate processes into scalable solutions.
• Evaluate emerging technologies in AI, data engineering, and cloud architecture.
