Job summary

HELP of Southern Nevada’s Shannon West Homeless Youth Center is seeking a Data Entry Intake Specialist to interview applicants, assess eligibility, and maintain participant records. You will enter data into HMIS and agency databases, prepare intake notes, and support residents with trauma-informed care under the Assistant Director’s supervision.

The role is full-time, salaried non-exempt, with hours Mon-Thu 7:00am-5:00pm.

Qualifications

• Proof of high school graduation or GED.
• Data entry experience with HMIS.
• Active Nevada driver’s license with clean DMV record.

Responsibilities

• Interview and assess applicants to determine program eligibility.
• Enter required information into HMIS and agency databases.
• Maintain accurate participant records and intake notes.
• Provide crisis intervention and referral information to clients.
• Assist with daily life skills groups and meal preparation as needed.
• Document incidents, reports, and progress for monthly summaries.
