Job summary

HELP of Southern Nevada is hiring a Data Entry Intake Specialist for the Shannon West Homeless Youth Center in Southern Nevada. You will interview and assess applicants, determine eligibility, and maintain accurate participant records in HMIS and agency databases.

You will enter required information, prepare intake documentation, and support residents with referrals, crisis intervention, and daily data-entry tasks in a trauma-informed approach.

Qualifications

• Data entry experience with accuracy in intake processes.
• Experience with HMIS or similar client databases.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to document clearly.

Responsibilities

• Interviews and assesses applicants for program eligibility.
• Maintains accurate participant records and HMIS data.
• Completes intake paperwork and documents in the data system.
• Provides crisis intervention as needed.
• Uploads documents and creates intake notes per standards.
• Coordinates transportation to appointments and referrals.
