Job summary

TikTok is seeking a Data Infrastructure SRE to ensure reliability and scalability of core data services powering our products. You will work with Kubernetes, Redis, MySQL, and MQ, focusing on resilience and high performance for the platform that all product teams depend on.

This role includes on-call rotations, incident response, and collaboration across time zones, with emphasis on change management, automation, observability, and data-center/AI infrastructure support to meet large-scale data

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 2+ years of experience in an SRE, DevOps, Systems Administration, or similar role.
• Experience with at least one scripting language (e.g., Python, Bash, Go).
• Solid understanding of Linux operating systems and networking concepts.

Responsibilities

• Incident response and triage for production alerts and incidents.
• Operate deployments, config changes, and routine maintenance under change control processes.
• Automate repetitive tasks with scripts (Python, Go, Bash) and AI Agents to reduce toil.
• Improve observability with dashboards, alert tuning, and instrumentation.
• Support data center and AI infrastructure operations and maintenance.
