Job summary

Blockful is seeking a backend engineer to design and operate data pipelines across chains. You will index contracts, roles, and permissions, keep data in sync with on-chain state, and build observability into the data layer.

This role emphasizes correctness, end-to-end ownership from schema design to on-call support, and hands-on experience with EVM indexing and scalable pipelines in a fast-moving environment.

Qualifications

Every score Thority publishes rests on data being correct and current. You will build the pipelines that pull contract and permission state across chains and keep them fast, accurate, and observable.

• Strong backend engineering with production data pipelines at scale.
• Hands-on experience indexing EVM chains and decoding contract state.
• A bias for correctness: tests, reconciliation, and clear failure modes.
• Comfort owning a system end to end, from schema to on-call.

Nice to have

• Experience with subgraphs, custom indexers, or streaming data systems.
• Familiarity with multiple L1s and L2s.

Compensation

The salary range for this role is $165K to $215K, based on experience, plus equity and benefits. The range is shown up front so you know where you stand before the first call.
