Unchain Data in Buffalo, NY is seeking an experienced backend engineer to build scalable pipelines that pull contract and permission state across chains and keep them fast, correct, and observable.

You will design and run multi-chain indexing for contracts, roles, and permission changes, and ensure data stays fresh and reconciled against on-chain state.

The role emphasizes tests, end-to-end ownership, and reliable on-call readiness; familiarity with subgraphs or streaming data systems is a plus.

Compensation

The salary range for this role is $165K to $215K, based on experience, plus equity and benefits.
