Job summary

Thority in Buffalo, NY is seeking a senior backend engineer to design and run multi-chain indexing for contracts, roles, and permission changes, keeping data accurate and up to date.

You will build fast, observable data pipelines, ensure data freshness and reconciliation against on‑chain state, and create alerts that surface problems before scores do; you’ll own the system end to end, from schema to on‑call.

Every score Thority publishes rests on data being correct and current. You will build the pipelines that pull contract and permission state across chains and keep them fast, accurate, and observable.

Compensation

The salary range for this role is $165K to $215K, based on experience, plus equity and benefits. The range is shown up front so you know where you stand before the first call.
