Job summary

ENGIE North America is seeking a data-focused business analyst to bridge US B2B Supply and Data & Architecture. You will translate business needs into technical specs, define mappings and tests, and drive data governance efforts.

Hybrid work policy applies, with domestic/international travel as needed. You will collaborate daily with stakeholders, product owners, and data engineers, reporting to the Director of Architecture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, Engineering, Analytics, or related field.
• 7+ years experience in data analysis or business analysis supporting data platforms and analytics delivery.
• Experience writing functional/technical specifications and source-to-target mappings.
• Proficiency in SQL, data profiling, and validation.
• Familiarity with cloud data platforms and BI tools; knowledge of ENGIE domains.

Responsibilities

• Gather and translate business requirements into clear functional and technical specs.
• Deliver source-to-target mappings, business rules, and acceptance criteria for data products.
• Lead functional and user acceptance testing for data pipelines and analytics outputs.
• Contribute to data governance efforts: data quality, metadata, lineage, and data dictionaries.
• Communicate with technical and business stakeholders; support hybrid collaboration.
