You will translate policies into practical services, drive governance across quality, lineage, cataloging, and metadata, and partner across business and IT to embed governance in operations.

Qualifikationen

• 9+ years of relevant professional experience and 1+ year of supervisory/management experience.
• Experience implementing or operating data governance, data management, or data enablement programs in a complex organization.
• Knowledge of data governance principles including data quality, metadata management, data lineage, data cataloging, and data stewardship.
• Experience leading people, teams, or cross-functional initiatives, including influence without direct authority.
• Demonstrated communication and change-management skills to drive adoption of new capabilities.
• Experience identifying, assessing, and coordinating resolution of data quality or data management issues.

Aufgaben

• Lead and develop a team of domain data analysts and data stewards responsible for implementing data governance and data quality controls.
• Implement and maintain the data enablement framework with policies, standards, and procedures for data management, quality, lineage, metadata, and responsible data use.
• Operationalize governance across data quality, metadata, lineage, cataloging, and data product controls.
• Partner with data officers, owners, enterprise architecture, IT security, legal, compliance, and technology teams to embed governance in operations.
• Align analysts with business domains to develop subject-matter expertise and act as data contacts for issues.
• Identify and remediate data quality issues in partnership with data owners and technology teams.
• Define and monitor data enablement metrics and KPIs to evaluate program effectiveness.
• Drive adoption by communicating value and building cross-functional support for new services.
• Promote compliance with data privacy and security policies (GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA).
• Coach teams with clear goals, feedback, and service-oriented leadership.
