Job summary

True Rx Health Strategists is seeking a Data Governance Specialist to strengthen data quality, ownership, and governance processes. You will partner with business and technical teams to ensure accurate, consistent data and actionable definitions.

The role emphasizes building trusted data standards and documentation to support enterprise decisions. You’ll work in a hybrid/remote setup (mostly remote) with opportunities to influence governance across the organization and to contribute to steady

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information systems or related field or equivalent experience.
• 2–3 years in data governance, data quality, or data management.
• Hands-on SQL experience required for analysis and validation.
• Experience analyzing data quality issues and root causes.
• Strong written and verbal communication and documentation skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain enterprise data governance standards and stewardship practices.
• Promote adoption of data standards across business areas.
• Participate in governance committees and change-impact discussions.
• Identify critical data elements and related quality controls.
• Build data quality monitoring, scorecards, and reports.
• Investigate discrepancies and coordinate remediation.
• Validate data structures, mappings, and migrations against requirements.
• Write and maintain SQL queries to profile and analyze data for stakeholders.
• Translate findings into clear information for business and technical teams.
