Job summary

dv01 is seeking a Data Governance Lead to replace informal ownership with a formal governance program spanning ownership, stewardship, a maintained data dictionary, a data quality framework with real metrics, and controlled data rights.

You will partner with our Data Product Manager, Data Engineering, Data Analysts, Data Operations, Product, Commercial and Legal to define what good looks like, instrument it, and hold the organization to it.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in data governance, data quality, or data management.
• Experience building data governance programs from the ground up.
• Strong attention to data definitions and stewardship.

Responsibilities

• Define ownership and stewardship across data domains.
• Develop a data dictionary and metadata framework.
• Establish data quality metrics and monitoring with tooling.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, analytics, and legal to implement governance in platforms used for AI.
• Operate as an IC initially with a plan to scale a team.
