Job summary

RRD is seeking a Data Governance Lead to build foundational data governance architecture to support specific AI use cases and to embed governance into data platforms and development initiatives.

You will lead cross-functional teams of data stewards, engineers, AI specialists and business SMEs, standardizing taxonomies and data dictionaries while ensuring compliance with major regulations. This role emphasizes collaboration and incremental value delivery.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree required.
• 5+ years of experience in data governance programs.
• Experience with Collibra or CDGC preferred.
• Strong metadata management and data quality skills.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Establish enterprise data governance foundations and metadata management.
• Define data taxonomies, dictionaries, and ontologies.
• Design a continuous Data Governance Lifecycle for AI readiness.
• Lead cross-functional teams of data stewards, engineers, and SMEs.
• Ensure compliance with CCPA, SOX, GDPR, HIPAA.
• Socialize data standards across the organization.
