Kyowa Kirin North America seeks an Associate Director, Data Governance for Commercial Operations. This leadership role builds KKNA’s enterprise data governance program across the data lake, catalogs, glossaries, and access controls, partnering with Legal, Privacy, and Compliance.

The role bridges business needs and technical teams to ensure data is findable, trusted, and governed. You will lead Data Access Governance, Data Governance Operations, and New Data Source Onboarding, establishing SOPs,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field required; Master’s preferred.
• CDMP / DCAM / DAMA or equivalent data governance cert preferred.
• 8–10+ years in data governance or data stewardship in life sciences.

Responsibilities

• Lead Data Access Governance: triage requests, classify data, document approvals.
• Own Data Governance Operations: SOPs, DMC cadence, policy registry.
• Oversee New Data Source Onboarding: ensure compliance, ownership, SLA.
• Maintain data catalog and business glossary with owners and definitions.
• Partner with Legal, Privacy, and Compliance on governance boundaries.
• Serve as liaison between business teams and Data Platform/IT.
