Job summary

Millenniumsoft is seeking a Data Governance Analyst to support agency-wide governance by implementing IDOH policies and SOPs. You will manage metadata, govern critical data elements, and author data quality rules while coordinating centralized data sharing and access governance.

The role also serves as a resource on policy interpretation, training, and stewardship best practices, with emphasis on cross-functional collaboration and timely decision-making.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information management, public health, data science, business, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• Minimum 4 years of professional experience, in line with the highest skill requirement
• Familiarity with data sharing agreements, data classification, and handling of sensitive data
• Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences

Responsibilities

• Intake, triage, and route internal and external data requests
• Maintain audit trails and enforce director accountability and delegation
• Coordinate with Legal on Data Sharing Agreements, retention, and destruction obligations
• Track request timelines and SLA adherence, and elevate overdue items
