Colgate-Palmolive is seeking a Data Governance Activation Manager to bridge policy with daily operations and lead a data transformation program. You will drive data ownership, stewardship, and activation of data governance to support AI and analytics initiatives across the organization.

Reporting to NYC or Piscataway, NJ offices, the role emphasizes data quality, collaboration with domain teams, and advancing a data-first culture. A Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years in data governance are required.

Qualifications

• Completed Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of work experience in large data transformation programs focusing on data governance and data quality.

Responsabilités

• Operationalize the Framework: Translate high-level data governance policies and standards into actionable processes and workflows for business and technical teams.
• Stewardship Leadership: Manage a network of Data Stewards across the organization, providing them with the tools and motivation to maintain high-quality data.
• Value Creation From Data Initiatives: Drive adoption of a strategic intake process to identify data use cases that solve business challenges and articulate the resulting business values.
• Tool Adoption: Oversee the implementation and day-to-day use of data governance solutions to ensure data is discoverable, trusted and secured as a source of truth.
• Analytics & AI Readiness: Partner with cross-functional teams to enforce data standards and metadata enrichment for trusted data products.
• Change Management: Advocate for a Data-First culture with training and communication plans.
• Metric Development: Define and track Activation KPIs such as user adoption and metadata completeness.
• Cross-Functional Liaison: Work with business and IT stakeholders to support business agility.
