As a Data Entry Specialist, you will enter, update, and review information in internal systems and databases. Your work will help maintain reliable records, identify incomplete or inconsistent information, and support timely processing. The position involves repetitive tasks and requires sustained concentration, sound judgment, and a commitment to following established procedures. You will collaborate with team members to manage workflow priorities and help reduce backlogs, while also working independently to complete assigned tasks. General administrative support, phone assistance, and intake activities may be required as business needs arise.
Candidates should have strong typing and data entry skills, with accuracy and consistency prioritized alongside speed. You should be attentive to detail and able to spot errors, missing information, or inconsistencies when reviewing records. Basic administrative or office experience is helpful, as is the confidence to ask questions and clarify information rather than make assumptions. The successful candidate will be reliable, organized, and comfortable following established processes. You should be able to manage repetitive work, stay focused throughout the day, contribute positively as part of a team, and also complete responsibilities independently. The ability to thrive in a deadline-driven environment is important. Experience in a high-volume data entry setting is preferred. Familiarity with claims processing, reimbursement, or billing workflows is an advantage, as is experience in healthcare, insurance, or a related industry. These areas of experience can help you understand the importance of accurate documentation and timely handling of information.
Perform high-volume data entry into internal systems and databases, maintaining strong accuracy and consistency. Enter new information and update existing records in accordance with established instructions and procedures. Review entries and source information for completeness, and identify discrepancies, errors, or missing details for clarification or correction. Maintain organized records and appropriate documentation to support reliable processing and follow-up. Help reduce backlogs by completing assigned work efficiently and supporting daily workflow priorities. Communicate with team members when information needs clarification or when an issue may affect processing. Provide general administrative assistance as needed, including phone support or intake tasks. Adapt to additional assignments that support the team’s workload and operational needs.
Compensation is determined based on relevant skills, experience, training, certifications or licensure, work location, and organizational needs. Where required by local law, the applicable salary range is provided in the job posting. The selected individual may be eligible for discretionary bonuses and may participate in medical, dental, and vision benefits, as well as the company’s 401(k) retirement plan, subject to applicable plan terms and eligibility requirements.
