Job summary

SpecialtyRx, Inc. is seeking a licensed Georgia Pharmacy Technician to join our team in a fast-paced pharmacy environment. You will handle drug distribution, process vendor orders, manage inventory, and ensure accurate medication entry.

Experience in Long Term Care pharmacy and purchasing/ordering is preferred. Strong organization, reliability, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds are required. This is a full-time on-site role with rotating weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

  • Licensed Georgia Pharmacy Technician required.
  • Long Term Care pharmacy experience preferred.
  • Purchasing/ordering pharmacy experience preferred.
  • Framework / ECM software knowledge a plus.
  • Must be reliable and execute multiple tasks assigned.
  • Good organizational skills and detail oriented.
  • Must be able to lift objects weighing up to 25 lbs or more safely and without assistance.

Responsibilities

  • Perform all drug distribution duties.
  • Receiving order from all vendors and correctly process into system.
  • Responsible for inventory, place orders, checks drugs & supplies.
  • Enter medication orders in system accurately.
  • Maintains floor stock, restocking, removal of expired medications.
  • Rotate stock of medication areas to assure quality controls.
  • Support and adherence policies for pharmacy standards.
  • Team player and collaborate with others to support the goals of the pharmacy.
  • Complete any other task assigned by the supervisor.

Physical Requirements
  • Work is performed in a pharmacy or office environment.
  • Ability to safely lift, carry, move, and position inventory, supplies, and pharmacy products weighing up to 50 pounds or more, with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, push, and pull for extended periods while performing receiving and inventory-related duties.
Schedule
  • 8am-4:30pm with rotating weekends and holidays.
