Job summary

Specialty Rx, Inc. seeks a licensed Pharmacy Technician to support dispensing operations. The role involves stocking, packaging, order entry, labeling, phone support, and adherence to pharmacy standards in a team-oriented environment.

Experience in a pharmacy setting and data entry is preferred; must be reliable, detail-focused, and able to lift light objects as needed.

Qualifications

  • Licensed Pharmacy Technician required.
  • Previous pharmacy experience preferred.
  • Previous data entry experience preferred.
  • Must be reliable and execute multiple tasks assigned.
  • Good organizational skills and detail oriented.
  • Ability to physically perform light lifting.

Responsibilities

  • Able to work under the direction of a supervisor
  • Maintain floor stock, restocking, removal of expired medications
  • Rotate stock of medication areas to assure quality controls
  • Prepack for floor bulk prescribed medications
  • Package fill and ship medications
  • Enter new orders for staff pharmacist review
  • Maintain up-to-date, accurate customer information
  • Generate labels for dispensing
  • Answer phones and respond to order inquiries
  • Clarify orders as needed
  • Triage incoming faxes
  • Responsible for pharmacy standards, maintaining adherence policies
  • Team player and collaborates with others to support the goals of the pharmacy
  • Complete any other task assigned by the supervisor
