Job summary

Specialty Rx, Inc. seeks a Licensed Pharmacy Technician to support daily dispensing activities in a fast-paced environment. You will handle inventory, labeling, order entry, and customer inquiries while maintaining accuracy and compliance with policies.

Experience in a pharmacy setting and data entry are preferred. The role emphasizes teamwork, reliability, and the ability to multitask, with benefits including health, dental, vision, retirement, PTO, and EAP.

Qualifications

  • Licensed Pharmacy Technician required.
  • Previous pharmacy experience preferred.
  • Previous data entry experience preferred.
  • Must be reliable and execute multiple tasks assigned.
  • Good organizational skills and detail oriented.
  • Ability to physically perform light lifting.

Responsibilities

  • Able to work under the direction of a supervisor.
  • Experience working Controlled Drugs (Narcotics) room a plus.
  • Maintains floor stock, restocking, removal of expired medications.
  • Rotate stock of medication areas to assure quality controls.
  • Prepack for floor bulk prescribed medications.
  • Package fill and ship medications.
  • Enter new orders for staff pharmacist review.
  • Maintain up-to-date, accurate customer information.
  • Generate labels for dispensing.
  • Answer phones and respond to order inquiries.
  • Clarify orders as needed.
  • Triage incoming faxes.
  • Responsible for pharmacy standards, maintaining adherence policies.
  • Team player and collaborates with others to support the goals of the pharmacy.
  • Complete any other task assigned by the supervisor.
