Description:Ministry FunctionThe Data Entry Assistant supports the ministry of Convoy of Hope in managing donor relationships by accurately entering and processing gifts in a timely manner and maintaining the accuracy of the database.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesEnters gifts and assign appropriate designations in a timely manner, maintaining supporting documentation.Manage data, ensuring accuracy of input.Forwards donor communications and special gift instructions to appropriate team members.Maintains donor confidentiality.Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent required.One year of data entry experience.Ability to key data quickly and accurately.Ability to sit for long periods of time entering data.Strong organizational skills.Must be proficient and able to work with software programs, including but not limited to Microsoft Word and Excel. Experience in other large donor database systems is a plus.Demonstrates attention to detail.Serves as an advocate for the ministry, striving to nurture, broaden, and develop financial and other resource opportunities to support and expand organizational and program ministry.Ability to positively represent the ministry of Convoy of Hope, including its mission statement and core values, to all outside constituencies.As a Christian organization, Convoy of Hope believes it is critical that team members embrace the organization’s religious purposes for which it exists and not only agree with its Statement of Faith but demonstrate it in their lives on an ongoing basis.
