Job summary

SHI is seeking a Solutions Engineer, Data Engineering to design, build, and deliver enterprise-scale data platforms using Azure and Microsoft Fabric. You will work with Solution Engineers, Project Managers, and client stakeholders on secure, scalable data pipelines that power analytics and AI use cases.

Role emphasizes hands-on engineering, delivery focus, and experience with state-level public sector and regulated projects. Mostly remote with home office support available per policy.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience delivering data engineering on Azure and Fabric.
• Experience with data lakehouse and warehouse architectures.
• Knowledge of security, governance, and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement data ingestion, transformation, and integration pipelines using Azure data services.
• Build scalable data lakehouse and warehouse solutions with cost efficiency and reliability.
• Develop data models and ETL/ELT processes for multi-source data.
• Collaborate with BI/analytics teams for downstream reporting and AI readiness.
• Apply security best practices including encryption and access control.
