Job summary

SHI International is seeking an experienced Services Solutions Engineer, Data Engineering, to architect, build, and deliver enterprise-scale data platforms using Microsoft Azure and Fabric. You will work with solution engineers, project managers, and client stakeholders to implement secure, scalable data pipelines that support analytics and AI use cases.

Qualifications

• Proven hands-on experience delivering modern data engineering solutions on Microsoft Azure and/or Microsoft Fabric, including data ingestion, transformation, storage, and analytics enablement.
• Experience with Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, Databricks, SQL Server, Azure SQL, ADLS Gen2, and Microsoft Fabric.
• Experience designing and operating production data platforms, including data modeling, incremental processing, monitoring, and operational support.
• Microsoft certifications such as Microsoft Certified Azure Data Engineer Associate, required or expected within six to twelve months.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement data ingestion, transformation, and integration pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Synapse, Fabric, and related Azure data services.
• Build and optimize data lakehouse/warehouse solutions for scalability, security, and cost efficiency.
• Collaborate with BI/analytics teams to prepare data for reporting, analytics, and AI workloads.
• Implement data quality, validation, lineage, and monitoring to ensure trusted data platforms.
• Produce design artifacts, migration plans, and runbooks; participate in code reviews and CI/CD processes.
