Job summary

CVS Health Corporation seeks a Manager, Data Engineer to join the Retail Resource Center’s Innovation team. The role combines SQL analytics, BI development, and data engineering to deliver insightful dashboards and scalable data pipelines.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience, enjoys turning data into actionable insights, and will collaborate with stakeholders across the organization while helping shape AI-driven analytics workflows.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in analytics engineering data analysis, or BI development.
• Experience using AI tools to support analysis, coding, and documentation
• Strong SQL skills, including writing and optimizing complex queries and transformations
• Hands-on experience building dashboards, data models, and DAX measures in Power BI
• Hands-on experience working with a cloud data warehouse (Snowflake or BigQuery preferred)
• Experience designing dimensional data models (e.g., star schema) for analytics use
• Experience building and maintaining ETL/data pipelines; strong analytical, problem solving and critical thinking skills
• Excellent business communication skills, ability to translate stakeholder questions into analysis and explain technical findings to non-technical audiences
• Strong organization skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Analyze data to answer business questions using SQL.
• Build and maintain Power BI dashboards.
• Design and maintain data pipelines and models (Snowflake/BigQuery).
• Partner with stakeholders across the organization.
• Leverage AI-assisted tools in analytics workflows.
